What should we wear as guests? Our research tell us that those of us who are not starring this event could turn into co-stars and ‘steal’ some sweet critics, how about that?
Considering the upcoming spring season for those living in the northern hemisphere and fall for the southern, weddings are starting to fill in the event lists for the next months. All of us know very well that the bride will be dressed in a white dove dress and the groom will be wearing a stunning black pinguin suit. But again, what about us?
Gentlemen, your part of the blog is below so please jump through these first parragraphs unless you want to see some pretty models…well dressed of course.
Ok ladies, here he go; let’s start from the top to the bottom
Our second stop is your clothing. For a morning wedding always choose a short piece but NOT
Accessories: The model seen here is wearing only a pair of earrings because we are only showing the dress, but you can add a bit more to your outfit with fine
In regards to the purse, I would suggest you choose a
Finally, your shoes. Enjoy a mid heel open design like this one, but if you insist go ahead and step up on your high heels, just remember that if the ceremony is held in the patio area, walking on the grass could be more challenging and breaking your high heel would be the end of your elegant look.
When you are done embellishing yourself, remember that there is no better look than a beautiful and honest smile. Enjoy the wedding!
GENTLEMEN! Here is your part…
Thank you for your patience and for jumping to this point of the blog…or did you read the girls’ part? If so, what do you guys think? Wouldn't girls look beautiful with that outfit? Well, just in case your girlfriends or wives plan to follow those advices, it would be nice if you do the same.
Ok, let’s see. Guests like you must wear tie, note I wrote must and not should or could – the advice is MUST – unless of course the ceremony is held on the beach next to the open sea and your invitation card reads “Casual Elegant Wear”.
Now, the color of your tie can be dark or a colorful print tie but in any case make sure it matches your suit and shirt.
Talking abourt shirts, be careful with its color because this piece is the fundamental element to enhance your face color. If your skin is dark then your shirt should be light and viceversa. Search for a color balance among your skin and the fabric.
Suits for this event should be in light colors like sand, beige, pearl grey or moss green. These are your best choices for the morning and usually match all color skins. Also consider that your suit color depends on the daylight; the darker the day becomes the darker your suit color should be.
What about the shoes and belts?...add to this question your watch, socks and pocket square. Really, I’ve got to care that much? Yes, you’ve got to! Everything you wear and is visible should be in total harmony including your underwear if you plan to make it visible at some point of the day. Have you seen the clouds lately? Were there any green color clouds among them? Right, no there were not and for that same reason all the elements of your outfit including the small ones that are occasionally covered by part of your clothing, should have a color balance among them. Some would advice to use all accessories in the same color tone, but I will not push you into that way and make it a rule; I would say that as long as they belong to the same color scheme you will be fine. Take these options as a reference:
Dear friend, I hope these advices are not a big load to you at the time you start dressing up but rather take them as tips for success. The effort you place in improving your personal image will reward you. Give it a try at least once and then tell us your experience. We are looking for to read from you soon.
